10-Day Itinerary:

Day 1:
 Arrive in San Jose.
Day 2:
 Tortuguero rain forest kayaking.
Day 3:
 Tortuguero rain forest kayaking and exploring Tortuguero.
Day 4:
 Transfer from Tortuguero. Launch on the Pacuare River.
Day 5:
 Horseback riding in the Pacuare Canyon.
Day 6:
 Canopy tour and hiking.
Day 7:
 Pacuare River rafting to take-out, transfer to Fortuna.
Day 8:
 Safari tour, hanging bridges, natural hot springs.
Day 9:
 Morning hike to Arenal Volcano. Transfer back to San Jose.
Day 10:
 Depart San Jose.

Our ten-day itinerary will take you from the bustling city of San Jose to the remote rain forest of the Tortuguero National Park. We will place you at the edge of the Arenal Volcano, in a raft through the world-famous rapids of the Pacuare River, and on horseback along the hillsides of remote mountains deep within the Pacuare canyon.
